OmniBus Names Joachim Bause VP of Sales for Europe

To be responsible for sales management across central and southern Europe (March 15, 2005)

OmniBus Systems, the award-winning provider of comprehensive automation and content management solutions to the broadcast industry, today announced the appointment of industry expert Joachim Bause as the company's new vice president of sales for Europe.

Within this key management role, Bause will be responsible for sales management across central and southern Europe. He will work closely with Phil Eade, OmniBus Systems' new vice president of channels and marketing for EMEA, in developing channel and alliance relationships in Europe. He also will manage the company's development of a business plan for further growth within European broadcast markets.

"We're very excited to welcome Joachim as the head of our central European sales division," said OmniBus Systems CEO Mike Oldham. "He is an exceptionally knowledgeable sales executive who has extensive experience working within the broadcast industry. His management skills and familiarity with leading broadcast groups will be a great asset as we focus on new strategies for building our business across continental Europe."

Bause was most recently in a senior management role with Blue Order, where he was responsible for sales in central and eastern Europe and Asia. Prior to working with Blue Order, he held senior positions with Sony and Avid Technology. He received his diploma in engineering from the Technical University in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Bause will manage OmniBus Systems sales for all continental European countries -- with the exception of Belgium, Netherlands, and Nordic countries -- from offices in Cologne, Germany. He will report directly to OmniBus CEO Mike Oldham.
