NoiseFixer 1.1 Released

16-bit Photoshop plugin handles larger images By Dave Nagel
FixerLabs has released an update to NoiseFixer, a plugin for Adobe Photoshop designed to reduce grain and color channel noise in photographs. The new version gains improved memory management and is available now for Mac OS X and Windows.

NoiseFixer is designed to remove noise, grain and fuzz from images while maintaining detail. According to FixerLabs, it works independent of the image's color and gray components and works in both 8- and 16-bit modes. The new 1.1 release adds "vastly improved" memory management, according to the company, and can now process larger images.

NoiseFixer is available for Mac OS X and Windows for $17. For more information, visit http://www.fixerlabs.com.
