Noel Group Announces Changes to Executive Leadership

New CFO, COO and President Poised to Take the Company to the Next Level (April 12, 2012)

STEVENS POINT, WI -- (Marketwire) -- 04/12/12 -- Noel Group today announced major changes to its executive leadership: a new chief financial officer, chief operations officer and president, as well as executive appointments at the Noel Group's subsidiary companies.

John Cowden has been named the Noel Group's chief financial officer. Cowden comes to Noel Group from QCSA Holdings where he served as CFO. He has also been the CFO for ThyssenKrupp Waupaca Foundry and Delco Remy International's vice president of finance.

"Noel Group is excited about the years of financial experience and executive leadership John Cowden will bring as our new CFO," said John Noel, chairman and chief executive officer. "Our executive team is a very close unit and compatibility with our unique corporate culture was as important as his experience. John is a welcome addition to our growing operation."

In addition, Tyler Noel was promoted to president of Noel Group. Alongside his father, Tyler Noel will oversee the growth of the Noel Group family of companies and investments. "I've literally grown up with these companies," said Tyler Noel. "I'm excited about the future of the Noel Group."

The Noel Group's new chief operations officer is Mike Meeks. Meeks most recently served as vice president of Insure America and also oversaw the infrastructure and information technology for the company. In his new role, Meeks will oversee the organization's varied operations.

"The Noel Group is a unique organization with very definite strengths," commented Meeks. "I'm looking forward to the challenge of overseeing its operations."

Jim Flavell will take over as president of MyAssist, a Noel Group subsidiary company. MyAssist is the largest company within the Noel Group and its growth demands more focused attention and leadership. Flavell has played a key role in MyAssist's development and according to John Noel, "He is the ideal person to accelerate the growth of MyAssist."

Jeff Steinweber has accepted a newly created position as vice president of enterprise architecture and development with the advancement of Meeks. Steinweber served in an executive leadership position prior to the restructuring.

In addition, Jakub Hanson has been named infrastructure director and Christine Sapa has been named director of account management.

"Fueling a growing company with energetic executives is a challenge for small companies," added John Noel. "We are proud and honored to announce several changes in our executive group and we're excited to see where this group will take us."
