No progress in search for missing Fort Wayne girlFamily friend says missing Fort Wayne girl's sisters told him she left with their mother
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) ' The disappearance of 9-year-old Indiana girl from a family friend's home is raising questions after police declined to search for a second straight day.
More than 100 emergency workers conducted an unsuccessful search Saturday for Aliahna Lemmon around a mobile home park in Fort Wayne where she was last seen. No active search was conducted Sunday and none was planned Monday.
Police haven't said why they called off the search or what they think happened to Aliahna.
Aliahna and her sisters were staying at Mike Plumadore's home because their mother was ill. Plumadore tells The Journal Gazette that he found his deadbolted door unlocked about 10 a.m. Friday and Aliahna gone.
Tarah Souders says her daughter has attention deficit disorder. Aliahna's grandmother says she has a history of sleepwalking.
