Nikon To Release New Cameras5700 offers 5 megapixel resolution
Starting at the higher end, the 5700 offers a resolution of 5 megapixels and an 8x optical Zoom-Nikkor ED glass lens. It includes an Electronic Viewfinder, Nikon's Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass and the ability to capture in a raw data mode. It can also record up to a minute of video.
The Coolpix 4500 offers a 4.0 megapixel CCD and a 4x optical Zoom-Nikkor lens in a swivel lens body. It includes full manual controls as well as a range of automatic features.
The 2500 is a pocket-sized model with a 2.0 megapixel resolution and an inner swivel lens. Nikon hasn't said specifically when this model will be released, but the company is going on tour to show it off in June and is offering an iMac as a possible prize for those who visit on the tour. The Coolpix 2000 is a 2.0 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical Zoom-Nikkor lens and several automatic features, including One-Touch Upload, built-in scene modes and a VCD explaining the basics of digital photography.
