Nightlight Studios Chooses Virtools for Hurricane HuntersTo be released on PC and Mac (December 07, 2005)
Virtools, a Dassault Systèmes company announced that its technology has been chosen by Nightlight Studios for their next 3D game, “Hurricane Hunters”, commissioned by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to be released on PC and Mac. In this serious game, you play a new recruit into the 403rd wing of the United States Air Force Reserve – a group known as the Hurricane Hunters, the only unit in the world flying into hurricanes on a routine basis. As you pilot various aircraft designed for aerial reconnaissance through hurricanes, you will rise through the ranks of Hurricane Hunters by successfully predicting and averting weather disasters in various U.S. cities.
