Nickelodeon and Budge Studios Launch Dora the Explorer: Where is Boots? Storybook App for iPhone, iPad & iPod touch(September 20, 2012)
MONTREAL, CANADA (PRWEB) September 20, 2012
Budge Studios and Nickelodeon have teamed up again to create Dora the Explorer: Where is Boots?, an exciting storybook app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. This time, join Dora in her first interactive hide-and-seek storybook on her quest to find her best friend Boots!
Dora the Explorer: Where is Boots? is a hide-and-seek adventure based on the classic lift-the-flap book, incorporating its own twist through interactive features such as slidable buttons that uncover clues, tapable animations that introduce characters and gestures to reveal hidden objects.
Making their way through the book, kids and parents alike will be captivated by the breathtaking artwork and original music.
"This app brings a classic lift-the-flap reading experience to life through animation and special effects. Dora's interactive adventures are incredibly intuitive for young children as they journey through the rewarding experience of finding her best friend Boots," adds Michael Elman, Creative Director at Budge Studios.
Throughout the book, children are encouraged to read along with Dora as she narrates the highlighted text on each page, strengthening word identification and sounds. The fun interactive aspects of the app make Dora the Explorer: Where is Boots? not only an educational experience, but also an endless adventure for kids.
Also featured within the app are several bonus activities, including storybook pages that children can decorate with tapable animated stickers and mini games including the banana catching mini game.
The Dora the Explorer: Where is Boots? App is available for $1.99 (iPhone, iPod touch) and $3.99 (iPad) from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch or at http://www.itunes.com/appstore .
