New Release Provides Roadmap for Living Life by Overcoming Fears of Death; Book by Naoki Iwasawa

  (April 11, 2012)

INDIANAPOLIS (PRWEB) April 11, 2012

How someone approaches life affects every aspect of reality, from work and family choices to how someone views death. In this new book, Naoki Iwasawa aims to show readers how to attain the goal of life and a state of mind to accept death calmly. The author provides his ideas on how to consider nihilism, pessimism and fears of death, offering logical ways to think about these far-reaching realities related to life.
For Being Happy in Life and Calm at Death provides an organized approach, with sections on how to live, how to become happy, how to achieve peace, and the nature of truth and the world. As the author points out, life can be short, so people must consider how to live their lives to the fullest. He explores why people have a hard time calmly accepting death and how to attain a long and healthy life, how to practice all the things we desire and should do, how to leave something from life, how to overcome nihilism and pessimism, and the nature of truth and the world. Iwasawa devotes three chapters to peace: peace among mankind, peace between man and animals (including eating meat) and peace among animals.
The author includes perspectives from his viewpoint and others, including historians like Arnold Toynbee, Buddhist priest Kenkou Yoshida, Apple Inc. co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs, medical professionals like Carl Jung and philosophers such as Socrates. Practical solutions for being happy in life and possibly extending it pair with more esoteric discussions on consciousness, life after death and the meaning of it all. The authors passion for his subject adds to the books resonance. As he writes, When we consider the best way to live, what matters most is that we are sincerely convinced of it. .. To be convinced, we need to think for ourselves.
Author Naoki Iwasawa lives in Tokyo, Japan. He worked as a manager of planning at IBM in Japan after studying physics and mathematics at the University of Minnesota and earning a degree from the School of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University. He helped write Reading Singer: Practical Ethics in the Global Age.
