New Jersey IT Services Company Exigent Technologies Expands with New Hire

Exigent Technologies is pleased to announce that Paul Bender has joined the firm as technical account manager and software developer. Paul has over 18 years of computer technology, IT management, computer networking and programming experience.

In his previous position as Chief Information Officer for a central New Jersey-based IT and Energy Software development firm, Paul led a team of software developers and field technology professionals in Security, IT and Energy Efficiency technology development. Prior to that, he held the Information Technology Director position with Lackland Self Storage and was a member of their Executive Team.

Paul has a bachelor of science degree in applied mathematics and a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, both from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He also is a gold member of the IEEE Computer Society and has held several industry certifications and awards, including Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in .NET Framework and Microsoft Most Valuable Professional.

Paul has senior-level programming experience in: ASP.NET; MS Silverlight; ASP/VBScript; PHP; Adobe Flash Professional; Java Server Pages and Applets; Cold Fusion; JavaScript, AJAX and DHTML; HTML; Web-Based CMS: Drupal (PHP/MySQL), Joomla (PHP/MySQL), Sitefinity (.NET/SQL Server), WordPress (PHP/MySQL); Oracle Java SE; OS X Cocoa (Objective C); Python.

Paul also has mobile programming application development experience with the following platforms: Android (Java); iPhone (iOS/Objective C); Windows Mobile. Additionally, Paul has senior-level experience in the following database systems: SQL Server; MySQL; MS Access; SQL Lite; XML.
