New Camden Post Keeps Very Busy This SummerPosts Jamie Oliver 30 second top tips promo (September 09, 2004)
Branching off the success of prosperous parent company, Image Dynamic Pictures (IDP), one of the most established music video and commercial production companies in the UK, Camden Post is ideally positioned to work with IDPs high profile clients which include MTV, CNN, Sony Music, BMG Records, The Ministry of Sound, and Arte TV as well as cater to the needs of individual artists and independent filmmakers. The new welcoming new post house boasts the latest technology, which includes two Avid off-line suites, an Avid on-line suite and motion graphics capabilities. All systems are digitally routed to a comprehensive broadcast specified machine room that has every format available from VHS to Digi Beta. The machine room also has dedicated duplication bays for every format.
After just launching a few months ago, Camden Post has already post produced some high profile projects namely, a corporate video for Hastings Borough Council titled: ?Delivering the Future, produced by Simon Allen and directed by Toby Meakins. Stuart Gosling, talented Director and Company Director at IDP (Image Dynamic Pictures Ltd) has just shot a stunning new music video for singer, Lola for her debut single titled: ?I can do it, produced by IDPs John Adams. Lola is one of Italys leading up-and-coming new dance artists from the same league as the international Italian star Eros Ramazotti. Recently launched, Camden Post was responsible for the detailed off line editing of the eye-catching music video, edited by offline editors Martin Swann (?Swanny) and Danny Tull.
Camden Post has also recently been involved in the post production of the new Danish dance act, Marlys latest music video titled ?You Never Know signed to ?All around the World Records, produced by Patrick Holtkamp at IDP (Image Dynamic Pictures Limited) and directed by IDP Director, Andreas Tibblin, the master of contemporary dance videos. The music video is clean and superbly shot.
Camden Post has also just post produced a Jamie Oliver Promo titled ?The new Jamie Olivers 30 Second Top Tips: The Great Steakout, The Great Baste and The Chopper is Born directed by Ben Hume-Paton. The Promo is made up of three 30-second spots, filmed from a 2-digibeta-camera shoot, featuring the celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver. We see the famous chef sharing his secrets on rustling up a delicious steak, giving handy tips on creating great flavour using various herbs, and instructing on keeping knives sharp and your fingers safe in the kitchen at the same time. The promo was off lined and on lined at Camden Post by Editor Geoff Moseley. Director, Ben Hume-Paton and Editor, Geoff Moseley cut the 30 second spots in offline resolution, followed by the online which was reconformed at 1:1. Camden Post then added motion effects and colour grading to give the promos a more filmic look.
The three 30 second spot promos are due to air imminently at US supermarkets.
