SEATTLE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 07/29/08 -- Widevine Technologies, the only provider of multiformat, multiplatform DRM and digital copy protection solutions, today announced it has been selected by Netmax.tv, a global provider of multi-language ethnic television and entertainment, to enable secure distribution of targeted, geo-specific programming to a worldwide audience of Hollywood / Bollywood / Worldwide content enthusiasts. By deploying Widevine's security platform Netmax.tv will securely reach Windows, Mac and Linux users running a wide array of Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Opera, and IPTV set top box users.
Netmax.tv's vision is to securely distribute its vast library of licensed content to any geo-authorized consumers with connected personal computing devices.
