Naxos of America Welcomes Haenssler Classic to Its Family of Distributed Labels

FRANKLIN, TN and STUTTGART, GERMANY -- (Marketwire) -- 03/16/10 -- Beginning April 1, 2010, Naxos of America will begin distribution of the prestigious German classical label Haenssler CLASSIC in the United States and Canada.

April releases will feature new recordings by conductors Roger Norrington and Christopher Hogwood; cellist Gerhard Oppitz; and archival recordings by pianist Geza Anda and violinist Ida Haendel.

With a catalog that boasts nearly 800 CD and DVD titles, Haenssler CLASSIC is one of the most important independent German classical music labels.
