Native Updates Kompakt, Reaktor Session, VokatorNew versions get optimizations and bug fixes; Vokator adds RTAS and HTDM support
Kompakt is Native's streamlined sampler, offering more than 200 instruments, sound shaping capabilities and support for Kontakt, Gigasampler, EXS, Akai and other sound formats. The new 1.0.1 update includes a variety of optimizations, including CPU and DFD performance; animated moving pan and volume knobs when using MIDI CC10/CC7; and the ability to add a new empty group through the Group menu. Several bugs have also been addressed in this release.
Reaktor Session is built upon Reaktor's audio engine and core instrument library to provide a range of synthesizers, samplers, beat loopers and drum machines. Version 1.0.4 offers improved CPU efficiency, audio performance optimizations, Akai import under Mac OS 9, improved drag and drop support and fixes in the audio table and grain cloud modules.
Finally, Vokator is a vocoding tool powered by a high-resolution FFT spectral engine. It also includes synthesis, granular sampling and a virtual sound fusion laboratory. The new update doesn't change Vokator's version number but adds new support for Digidesign Pro Tools. On Mac OS X and Windows, it can be used as an RTAS plugin, while on Mac OS X alone it also gains support for HTDM Units.
All of the new updates are available for Macintosh and Windows. For more information, visit http://www.nativeinstruments.de.
