National Geographic Digital Media Announces New Name and Web Site For Footage ServiceService now known as National Geographic Digital Motion (January 26, 2006)
National Geographic Digital Media has changed the name of its footage service from National Geographic Television Film Library to National Geographic Digital Motion. The service licenses National Geographic Television and Films Emmy Award-winning film and videotape in digital and analog formats. The name change coincides with the launch of the www.ngdigitalmotion.com Web site, a new starting point for professionals seeking outstanding footage for their advertising, corporate, television, film and interactive projects.
The www.ngdigitalmotion.com Web site allows visitors to view a portfolio of video production projects featuring National Geographic footage, to watch footage demos and to search stock footage content. Later this year the site will feature enhanced searching capabilities for individual footage shots, complete with full rights information and visuals for every shot.
