Napkin Labs Hires Trio to Engage Brand's Communities OnlineAdds Director of Business Development, Software Developer and Designer/Developer (January 18, 2012)
BOULDER, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/18/12 -- Napkin Labs, the Boulder, Colorado startup that turns passive Facebook fans into an active workforce for new insights and ideas, is growing its team! The company has added Jeff Scurlock as its Director of Business Development, as well as Software Developer Chandler Hoisington and Designer/Developer Alexander Diner. The trio will help Napkin Labs create tools and grow its customer base as the company expands in 2012.
Scurlock comes to Napkin Labs from the innovation consultancy, BrandJuice, where he directed business development. He's worked with a diverse range of brands from Proctor & Gamble, and Pepsi, to Ride Snowboards and others. Scurlock specializes in Demand Management: the fusion of advertising, lead generation and business development -- initiatives important to growth at Napkin Labs. He created Demand Management for RightNow Technologies generating an immediate six-figure savings and filling the sales pipeline with millions in sales opportunities. Oracle recently bought RightNow for $1.5B.
"Jeff lives with a golden retriever, so we knew he'd get along just fine with Co-Founder and COO Warren Ng," joked Napkin Labs Co-Founder and CEO Riley Gibson. "But seriously, Napkin Labs operates in a space dominated by social media and digital channels. Jeff is an expert at generating leads from these sources with a system that he calls the 'qualification funnel.' This, along with his negotiation skills and big brand experience will be key assets for Napkin Labs."
To build out its web design and suite of apps that engage companies' fans, Napkin Labs has added Chandler Hoisington to its team as a Software Developer. Hoisington is experienced with a variety of different coding languages and recently worked on a contract with Ungeo to design and setup the first public cloud in China. He also served as VP of Consulting Services for Experience Code Futures.
A large part of Napkin Labs is simple but beautiful design -- a specialty for new Designer/Developer Alexander Diner, who lists his favorite color as #82e9d9 (a light greenish-blue). Diner's expertise is in Web Design, Branding, Front-End Development and UI/UX Design with both Blue Moon Works and Zenman Productions. He graduated from The Art Institute of Colorado in 2011 with a degree in Graphic Design.
"Chandler and Alexander bring great energy and expertise to our growing team," said Gibson. "Both will be instrumental as we grow and evolve our platform and Facebook apps."
