NTSB back at scene of Vegas helicopter crash

Investigators return to scene of tour helicopter crash outside Las Vegas that killed 5 By The Associated Press

LAS VEGAS (AP) ' Federal crash investigators are back at the scene of a Las Vegas tour helicopter crash near Lake Mead that killed five people, while friends and family members in several states are mourning the dead.

Authorities removed the bodies Thursday but didn't immediately release the names of those who perished in the Wednesday evening crash.

The National Transportation Safety Board says most of the helicopter operated by Sundance Helicopters of Las Vegas was consumed by fire, and the Clark County coroner says the bodies aren't easily recognizable.

Family members identify three of the dead as the pilot, 31-year-old Landon Nield, of Las Vegas, and a couple from Utica, Kan., who were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary ' Delwin and Tamara Chapman.

Nield was from a Mormon family in Wyoming and Utah.
