N'Pine Updates MathMagic

Equation editor released for Quark and InDesign By Dave Nagel
N'Pine has released new versions of MathMagic Personal Edition and MathMagic Pro Edition. MathMagic is a line of equation-editing plugins and a standalone equation-editing application. The new 4.2 version adds several new features and also gains compatibility with QuarkXPress 5 and 6. MathMagic Pro and Personal editions are available now for Mac OS X.

MathMagic is a mathematical equation editor that provides automatic formatting of equations and a WYSIWYG interface for producing equations, either as a plugin for InDesign, as an XTension for QuarkXPress or as a standalone application. The new versions offer a variety of new features, including a StyleSet pop-up menu, changes to layout and fixes for various issues that have arisen since the 4.1 release in December.

MathMagic Personal Edition 4.2 is available now for $119.95 for the full version, $69.95 for an academic license. MathMagic Professional Edition sells for $695 for a single-user license, $399 for the academic version. Mutli-user licenses and demo versions are also available. For more information, visit
