NOISE INDUSTRIES JOINS THE JOHN LENNON EDUCATIONAL TOUR BUS
FxFactory installed on the ”Studio on Wheels” educational tour bus, crossing the States offering students free hands-on production experience
Boston MA – July 31, 2008 – Noise Industries, developer of visual effects tools for the postproduction and broadcast markets, is sponsoring the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, a 501(c)(3) non-profit venture dedicated to introducing visitors to the latest audio and video technology. Established more than a decade ago, the Lennon Bus is a mobile state-of-the-art recording and HD video production studio. Covering some 60,000 miles per year, there are 3-4 on-board engineers that travel with the Bus, hosting one day workshops for students from all walks of life at hundreds of schools and other locations across the US. Students spend the day composing an original song, recording it and creating and producing a broadcast quality video using the latest in video and audio solutions such as Apple® Final Cut Studio® and Noise Industries’ FxFactory Pro.
Brian Rothschild, co-founder and Executive Director of the Bus venture, said of the new alliance, “We are pleased to have Noise Industries on board as a sponsor. Jeff Sobel, our Chief Engineer, was anxious to bring the products into our studio and maintain the highest quality available in the production and post production worlds.”
The Lennon Bus staff invited Noise Industries to participate in the tour and put their visual effects package – FxFactory Pro – in the video production suite. An ideal fit for the Apple Final Cut Studio workflow and a fan favorite among Final Cut editors, Noise Industries became a proud sponsor of the Bus. “This is definitely one of these moments when you step back and realize how fortunate you are to be a part of such an amazing industry – one that has so many talented members who give back in such invaluable ways,” comments Niclas Bahn, Noise Industries. “We want to express our deep gratitude to the team at the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus and thank them for letting us be part of such an amazing project.”
