NJCAA TV, Powered by, Ready to Deliver Live Coverage of Select NJCAA Winter Championships

The online video network of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), NJCAA TV, is set to deliver hundreds of hours of live coverage of the organizations upcoming winter national championships. Beginning this week with the 2012 NJCAA Wrestling Championships and continuing through the month of March, NJCAA TV, powered by, will provide fans the ability to watch free live action from nine separate national championship tournaments.

Fans will be able to follow action of select NJCAA winter championships over the next month live on NJCAA TV, powered by ( NJCAA TV will begin its coverage of winter championships with a live broadcast of the championship finals of the NJCAA Wrestling Championships on Feb. 25th from Rochester. Also on Feb. 25th, NJCAA TV will feature both semifinal contests from the NJCAA Ice Hockey Championship from the campus of Monroe Community College (N.Y.) as well as the national title contest on Feb. 26th.

The month of March will be the busiest of the year for NJCAA TV, starting with live coverage of the 2012 Swimming & Diving Championships from the campus of Indian River State College (Fla.), March 7-10. Basketball then takes over NJCAA TV as fans will have the ability to watch all contests from its Division I, II and III mens and womens basketball championship tournaments. Both Division III tournaments begin March 15th and end with championship finals on March 17th. Divisions I and II tip-off a week later and conclude on March 24th.

After achieving nearly 1 million visitors in November of 2011 during live coverage of seven fall championship tournaments (volleyball and soccer), NJCAA TV is expecting to exceed 2 million visitors over the next six weeks as fans and followers of NJCAA teams will be watching championship coverage online and on their mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, Droid) thanks to iHighs advanced viewing technology.

The NJCAA has a long, storied history of giving student-athletes opportunities to chase their dreams. NJCAA TV moved to the platform in August 2011 with the goal of providing a centralized location for fans to access and watch NJCAA championship events. In addition, set up a customized NJCAA channel or network on its platform where NJCAA member colleges can broadcast their regular season contests for free with access to help staff and software tools. Since its move to, NJCAA TV has yielded nearly 2 million visits thanks to over 600 broadcasts of regular season and championships contests.
