NEC Ships Network ProjectorsMT series get ImageXpress technologies
NEC's ImageXpress technology allows projectors to communicate continuously and in real time with a computer on a wired or wireless (802.11b) LAN. This allows for remote switching of presentations, as well as remote diagnostics and control.
The projectors also offer NEC's 3D Reform technology, which provides horizontal, vertical and diagonal keystone correction. The MT1065 and MT1060 also feature automatic adaptive color correction and an automatic focus lens for switching between multiple screens without having to refocus the projector. They can also display 4:3 signals on a 16:9 screen without black sidebars.
All of the new models are LCD-based. The MT1065 and MT1060 offer XGA resolution and weigh in at 13 pounds. They offer 3,200 and 2,600 ANSI lumens of brightness, respectively. The MT860 offers XGA resolution and a 2,800 ANSI lumen brightness. The MT1065 and MT1060 are available now. The MT860 will be out in January. For more information, visit http://www.nectech.com.
