NEC Launches New Pro Displays22-inch models offer 2,048 x 1,536 resolution at 86 Hz
The new models use NEC's Diamondtron aperture grille technology and offer twice the brightness of previous-generation models without color shifts or a reduction in contrast, according to the company.
The monitors also include NaViSet monitor control software for adjusting the new monitors' display settings. The software also incorporates descriptions and test patterns that assist the user in making display adjustments.
The horizontal frequency rates of the models range from 30 kHz to 110 kHz for the 19-inch models and 30 kHz to 140 kHz for the 22-inch models. The 19-inch models support resolutions up to 1,920 x 1,440 at 73 Hz. The 22-inch models support 2,048 x 1,536 at 86 Hz. The 22-inch models also work as dual-input, powered USB hubs.
The monitors will be available for $419.99 for the NEC MultiSync FP912 SB, $829.99 for the FP2141 SB, $429.99 for the Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930 SB and $849.99 for the DP2070 SB.
