NDL Offers Free 3D Game Download for iPAQ

Numerical Design Ltd. (NDL) is giving an early gift to iPAQ users. Christmas Rush, a new interactive 3D game for Compaqs Pocket PC, is available for free download on the companys web site at www.ndl.com. The first-person game, which has players helping Santa deliver presents, appeals to children of all ages, says the company.

NDL, maker of the NetImmerse 3D game engine and toolkit, has built its reputation optimizing performance for games on Xbox, Playstation 2, Gamecube and PC. "We used our 3D tools to create a cute little game for the holidays," says John Austin, NDL president. "We see a real opportunity for graphically rich 3D gaming on mobile devices and in the future, digital phones."
