NAB: Discreet Releases Combustion 2.1.1

New version fixes bugs, addresses integration issues By Dave Nagel
Discreet has released an update to Combustion, the company's motion graphics and compositing suite. The new version is a minor version change that addresses integration issues with other Discreet software. It's available now for Mac OS X and Windows.

Discreet released its last update to Combustion in January, eliminating the dongle and lowering the price point to $995. (The original price had been about $5,000.) It included a huge number of new and improved features, especially in the area of compatibility with Mac OS X 10.2.x. The new version addresses integration issues with 3ds max 5 and with edit 6.0, and 6.5 as well as problems in Particles and GMasks.

Discreet Combustion 2 is available for Mac OS X and Windows. The 2.1.1 update is free for users of Combustion 2 and is available at
