At NAB 2007, AJA unveiled its new Io HD, a portable capture and output device. ?We are really excited to develop the first device to support the Apple ProRes 422 codec with Io HD Nick Rashby, AJAs president said, ?Our customers are even more excited to do true 10-bit production quality HD editing on an Apple laptop!
What does Io HD support?
The Io HD supports both the Apple ProRes 422 and ProRes 422 HQ formats. This means 720 and 1080 HD, all in real time, full resolution 10 bit 4:2:2.

Whats it cost?
The AJA Io HD will cost just under $3,500 and is expected to ship in July 2007.
