MusicBox Provides Tunes For Two Hit TV SeriesSupplies music for Family Plots and Dog The Bounty Hunter (February 01, 2005)
MusicBox, a music production company that provides original composition and scoring, as well as over 1,000 tracks from its original music library, to television, film, TV commercial and radio projects, has been signed for a second consecutive year to provide a combination of original custom music, along with tracks from the MusicBox library, to two of A&Es hit TV series, ?Family Plots, and ?Dog The Bounty Hunter. The announcement was made today by MusicBox co- founders/composers Dan Stein and Joel Goodman.
For the second year seasons of ?Family Plots and ?Dog The Bounty Hunter, MusicBox will provide extensive thematic underscore.
Both ?Family Plots and ?Dog The Bounty Hunter are produced by Hybrid Films. MusicBoxs clients at Hybrid are David Houts and Daniel Elias. The two men said, ?MusicBox consistently comes up with the most creative ideas and musical palettes for each of these distinctly different shows. We enjoy working with them very much.
A&Es ?Family Plots, with the tagline ?A real family livens up a dead business, is a reality series about a family run mortuary in Southern California. ?Dog The Bounty Hunter stars Duane ?Dog Chapman, as he tracks down and captures real-life criminals on the run. The premiere of the series tied (with ?Growing up Gotti,) as the most-watched new series premiere in A&Es history, with 3.2 million viewers.
