More testimony in webcam spying trialInvestigators expected to testify in trial of ex-Rutgers student accused of webcam spying
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) ' At least one more detective is expected to be called to testify when testimony resumes in the trial of a former Rutgers University student accused of using a webcam to spy on his roommate's intimate encounter with another man.
On Tuesday, jurors heard details of computer records of defendant Dharun Ravi (dah-ROON' RAH'-vee) and his roommate, Tyler Clementi.
An investigator said that Clementi visited Ravi's Twitter page 38 times in the two days before Clementi committed suicide in September 2010.
Authorities say Ravi used Twitter to tell people he saw Clementi "making out with a dude" via webcam and later "dared" friends to tune in.
He faces 15 criminal counts, including bias intimidation and invasion of privacy.
Wednesday will be the ninth day of testimony in the trial.
