Montrealers Can Opt-out from Receiving the Yellow Pages(TM) 2012 DirectoryMontreal opt-out period closing on July 18, 2012 (June 21, 2012)
MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 06/21/12 -- Yellow Pages Group (YPG) reminds Montreal residents that they have until Wednesday, July 18, 2012 to opt-out of receiving their 2012 Yellow Pages print directory, scheduled for distribution in August in the Montreal area. Montreal residents can visit http://www.ypg.com/delivery to opt-out or contact Yellow Pages Group's Distribution Call Centre at 1-800-268-5637.
"Given that our Company offers a wide array of tools to help consumers search for a local business - from online, to mobile to print - we offer choice to Canadians consumers and provide them with the opportunity of opting-out of the print directory delivery list," said Nicolas Gaudreau, Chief Marketing Officer at Yellow Pages Group. "Our goal is to ensure that the print directories are delivered only to those who wish to receive them. Therefore, we encourage Montrealers who do not wish to receive the directory at their homes to opt-out of the delivery list."
Yellow Pages Group will take advantage of new ways to promote its opt-out program. A Facebook social media campaign will be launched and 80,000 doorhangers will be distributed to residents of many Montreal neighbourhoods in order to remind them of the opt-out deadline.
Yellow Pages directory content is readily available online at YellowPages.ca(TM) and Canada411.ca(TM) or through the Yellow Pages mobile application, downloaded over 4 million times. This mobile application is available on Blackberry, Apple iPhone(TM), Apple iPad(TM), Google(TM) Android(TM) and Windows Phone 7(TM) at http://www.yellowpages.ca/mobile.
Residential directories used to find personal phone numbers are available only upon request in Montreal. Copies can be obtained online at http://www.ypg.com/delivery or by contacting Yellow Pages Group's Distribution Call Centre at 1-800-268-5637.
