Modo 302 ReleasesLuxology Produces a new version of their subd 'modeler'
Luxology produced modo several years ago to the Mac and PC community as a responsive sub-D modeler that would allow beginners and highly advanced 3D modelers to take advantage of the easily customizable software.
Since then, modo modeling base software has gone through several different evolutions, which have brought new rendering, painting, texturing, sculpting and even some animation abilities to the software.
modo302 brings new tools and new features to the the software that really add to the experience for creative 3D designers and animators.
FLEX TOOL allows you to pose your models with an organic feel (more than just falloff operations alone). And the "organic" vibe moves through the application into animation as well. Vertex Wave Map deformer allows you to animate the model to produce some intricate moves. 302 also has a new.. "totally new" track view editor.
Luxology is offering everyone the chance to take a look at the spotlight software and you can get 8 tutorials and access to 2GB of online documentation for only $25.
Check out more of what modo 302 can do by watching the tutorial samples by modo guru Andy Brown on the luxology website: NOTE!! You should upgrade your Safari browser, or use Camino to watch these.
