Mo. man charged in Minneapolis-area triple slayingCops: Man charged in triple slaying at Minn. daycare looking for girl who accused him of rape
BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) ' A Missouri man has been charged in the murders of a Minnesota daycare provider and her elderly parents in what authorities believe was a botched effort to find a teenager who accused him of rape.
Police said Monday that 34-year-old Eddie Matthew Mosley of St. Louis is facing three counts of intentional second-degree murder for the April 9 shootings.
Authorities say Mosley shot 59-year-old DeLois Brown and her parents, 82-year-old James Bolden and 81-year-old Clover Bolden, in Brown's home in Brooklyn Park, a Minneapolis suburb.
Police said Mosley believed the teenager stayed with Brown before she went to school, and he went there to kill her. But the girl was no longer going to Brown's home.
Mosley's defense attorney in the rape case didn't immediately return a message Monday seeking comment.
