Mixes continue to heat up Crescendo!

Senior mixer, Craig Helmholz has been very, very busy (October 06, 2005)

Senior mixer, Craig Helmholz recently hosted New York agency, Ogilvy & Mather and producer Alicia Zuluaga in his Studio Roma to mix a :15-second TV spot for Post Raisin Bran titled ?Valentine. The talent was recorded via ISDN with Sound Lounge in New York. Carls Fine Films was the animation production company.

Filmcore/SF worked with Helmholz on Taco Bell TV spots for Foote Cone & Belding/San Frnacisco titled ?Invitation and ?Intimacy. The :30- and :15-second spots with versions were produced by FCB/SF producer Lisa Reynolds.

TBWA/Chiat Day and their client Adidas called on Helmholzs mixing skills for the Adidas TV spot ?Never Quits produced by Joe Calabrese. Calabrese also mixed eight TV spots for Fox Sports Net with Helmholz. On another Adidas job for Chiat Day and producer Andrea Bustabade, Helmholz recorded Freestyle/BMX rider Ryan Nyquist. For Panera, he recorded announcer, provided sound design and mixed two Radio spots titled ?Bold Soup and ?Bold Sandwich.

GSD&M/Dallas/TX producer Monika Prince selected Crescendo! and Helmholz to record and mix two TV spots for SBC, titled ?Balloon and ?Reveal.

Teak Motion Visuals/San Francisco worked with Helmholz on Wasington Hospital TV spots for agency Whitty, Hannell & Partners and agency principal Tim Hannell.

Red Car/Dallas mixed ?Pinesol Hispanic TV spot with Helmholz, with client Dieste Harmel & Partners/Dallas and producer Sharon Lopez. Talent was recorded via ISDN with Mexico City. Helmholz also mixed a TV spot ?Drama and a Clorox spot called ?Perspectives, with talent recorded via ISDN from L.A.

McCann-Erickson/A&L produced a Microsoft Radio spot ?Overwhelmed with Helmholz. Jamie Grady produced the spot which involved recording a half a dozen children via ISDN with Audiobanks, Santa Monica as well as two children in the Crescendo!s studio.

Euro MVBMS/NY worked with Helmholz on a Volvo TV spot. Helmholz recorded actor Benjamin Bratt and connected with BerwynEditorial/NY via ISDN.

Headquarters Advertising/San Francisco creative director Digna Roque selected Helmholz to record and mix a PG&E Hispanic Radio spot titled ?Work-Full Load. Helmholz recorded multiple talent in Mexico City via ISDN for the spot.

Senior mixer Dave Baker completed TV mixes for Ace Hardware with Goodby Silverstein & Partners/San Francisco and agency producer, Tod Puckett. The spots were titled ?Caterpillar, ?Paint, ?Green Grass, ?Fence ?Gift and ?Weather.

Agency Duncan Channon/San Rafael, editorial company Phoenix Edit Effects and Design/SF and independent producer Stacey Baily worked with Baker on two Web spot mixes for Sega titled ?Legend and ?Spartan Total Warrior.

Baker also mixed two Glad TV spots for Taylor Post/Walnut Creek and their client, producer Brian Holt of DDB/SF.

Ogilvy One/SF and producer Tina Barrett selected Baker to record and mix audio for the Yahoo! online project, ?Iceman Tour. Barrett also worked with Baker on a radio spot for the web promoting Yahoo!s streaming music service, Launchcast Radio.

Baker also mixed four online Flash Animation banners for Yahoo! Finance with Ogilvy One/SF producer Kate Ground. Baker also provided the original score through Crescendo!s subsidiary division, Resonante Music & Sound Design.

Phoenix Edit, Effects & Design/SF and their client SF Agency Venables, Bell & Partners mixed a PG&E Television spot with Baker. Stacey Higgins was the producer. On another project, Phoenix and agency Duncan Channon/San Rafael, worked with Baker on web spots for Sega. Stacey Bailey produced the sessions, which included voice over recording and extensive sound design.

Baker worked with Publicis/Hal Riney/SF producer Sosia Bert on a pair of Hewlett Packard radio spots titles ?Childs Play and ?Trixiebell. Multiple talent were recorded via an ISDN session with L.A. Studios.

Mervyns in-house producer Jennifer Girard continues working on the Mervyns advertising campaign with Baker. He recently recorded and mixed radio and TV spots for Mervyns Back to School Campaign and is currently working on the Holiday Campaign.

Taylor Post of Walnut Creek, editor Chris Taylor and DDB/SF agency, producer Bryan Holt worked with Baker to mix Clorox Glad television spots titled ?Seasons and ?Truck.

DDB/SF producer Rob Lee also worked with Baker to record and mix a TV spot for Pine Sol titled ?Floored. Filmcore/SF provided editorial services.

Baker recorded and mixed Hispanic radio spots for PG&E with Headquarters Advertising/SF and creative director Digna Roque. The spots were titled ?"PG& Click Away," "Infrared Technology/Future Ahead" and "Solar Schools/Photosynthesis."

Engineer Matt Wood recorded voice-over talent Chris Dobie for Publicis Hal Riney & Partners and their client Hewlett Packard via ISDN with Los Angeles.

News Broadcast Network and producer Judah Collins recorded a radio news tour for Yahoo! Tool Bar with Wood.

Mering & Associates, Sacramento and producer Liz Roth worked with Wood in Crescendo!s Studio Venezia to record a voice-over for Sutter Health.

Wood engineered an ISDN Voice over session for Popeyes Restaurants.

Wood recorded an announcer for the HGTV program, ?Small Spaces, Big Style. Brainbox Productions, Maryland was the client.

Assistant engineer McKell Smith recorded voice-over artist Marcus Lovett for his clients LOreal, Unisom, Jeep, and the CBS ?Late Show with David Letterman.
