Miranda Unveils Camera-Mounted DV-to-SDI InterfaceFor low-cost newsgathering with DV cameras (February 23, 2005)
Miranda's DV-Bridge Cam
?This new interface offers close and easy integration with DV cameras. The end result is a low-cost equivalent to an SDI camera, said Gilbert Besnard, director of video product development at Miranda. ?SDI newsgathering has suddenly become a lot more cost-effective. The DV-Bridge Cam can also streamline production workflow and provide broadcasters with an elegant and affordable way to take better advantage of DV.
Mirandas DV-Bridge Cam can be powered by the camera battery, and it outputs SDI with embedded audio and time code to enable the effective integration of DV cameras in an SDI facility. The interface is also ideal for creating very affordable auxiliary SDI cameras for mobile trucks.
