Microspot Releases X-RIP 1.1 for Mac OS X

Microspot has released X-RIP 1.1. X-RIP is a software RIP for Mac and Windows designed specifically to support large-format printers for graphics and CAD. The new version now supports Mac OS X.

Aside from OS X support, X-RIP 1.1 also offers faster RIP speeds, ability to print over a network and support for older printers. It also offers Print Center-level printing, support for high-resolution large format printing up to 1,200 DPI and direct USB and USB to Parallel converter support.


At present, X-RIP 1.1 supports Mac OS X 10.1.5. A free upgrade that supports OS X 10.2 is offered for those who purchase 1.1 now. X-RIP 1.1 is available for $449. For more information, visit http://www.microspot.co.uk.
