Michigan stabbing survivor identifies his attackerMan who survived Mich. stabbing identifies alleged serial killer as his attacker
FLINT, Mich. (AP) ' A victim has showed jurors his stab wound and identified a suspected serial killer as the man who plunged a knife into him during a summer of violent stabbings in Michigan.
Bill Fisher is the first witness Tuesday during the second week of trial for Elias Abuelazam (EE'-lee-us ah-BOOL'-ah-zahm), an Israeli immigrant charged with murder. Fisher says he was waiting for a bus in Flint in June 2010 when Abuelazam asked for help with his vehicle and then stabbed him.
Abuelazam is on trial for the death of Arnold Minor, one of three murder cases filed against him in the Flint area. He's also charged with six attempted murders.
Fourteen people were stabbed in Michigan, and five died. Abuelazam is also charged with attempted murder in Toledo, Ohio.
