MetraTech to Exhibit, Demo Solutions at Management World Americas ConferenceAs Part of "Enhanced Cloud Management" Catalyst Group, MetraTech Will Share Strategies for Cloud Service Monetization (November 04, 2011)
WALTHAM, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/04/11 -- MetraTech Corp., the leading provider of agreements-based billing (ABB) and compensation solutions, today announced it will present its MetraNet and Metanga solutions at TM Forum's Management World America's Conference. It will also participate in Forumville, as part of the Enhanced Cloud Management Catalyst project. The conference, taking place in Orlando November 8 through 10, focuses on simplifying the complexity of running service provider businesses. The Catalyst Group demonstrations are designed to meet that goal.
"Service providers face a number of challenges related to the cloud," said Scott Swartz, CEO of MetraTech. "First, they want to differentiate themselves with cloud options that solve customer problems and establish new revenue streams. To do that effectively, they need intelligent compensation and billing solutions that help them monetize new business models and serve their users better."
Swartz continued, "However, there is also a growing bandwidth usage/policy management issue that billing is in position to address as a potential modifier of customer behavior. We will be discussing and demonstrating how MetraTech can help CSPs tackle both these challenges in Orlando."
In preparation for the Catalyst project, MetraTech has worked with BT Amartus, Cisco, Comptel, InfoVista and Progress Software to create an innovative solution for cloud service management and monetization. The group's live demonstrations will take place in the Forumville area at the conference.
The Enhanced Cloud Service Management Catalyst Group was asked to help service providers:
- Increase customer confidence and loyalty through meaningful end-to-end service level agreements (SLAs) and proactive monitoring, reporting and billing notification.
- Differentiate and reduce cost through enhanced cloud services by leveraging intelligent infrastructure and orchestration across fulfillment, assurance and billing.
- Accelerate time to market by leveraging commercial off-the-shelf vendor solutions that conform to industry standards and offer pre-integrated, tested solutions.
MetraTech will also exhibit at the conference in booth #10.
