Memeo(R) Launches 'Social' Version of Mac Memeo Share; Streamlines Photo and Video Sharing With iLife(R) Integration

Enhancements Simplify Use With iPhoto(R) and iMovie(R), Bring Social-Networking Capabilities to the Desktop (January 06, 2009)

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/06/09 -- Macworld Conference & Expo -- Memeo Inc., a leader in digital media management services for the home and business, today announced a new release of its media-sharing application, Mac Memeo Share (v2.0), which includes integration with iPhoto, iMovie and new desktop-based, social-networking features. With the program, consumers no longer have to deal with the hassles of Web logins and slow upload times as they can share photos, videos and build social communities from their computer desktops.

Memeo Share is a media-sharing application that provides a simple and superior alternative to email when sending high-resolution photos and videos to others. It allows PC, Mac and iPhone(TM) users to create Sharing Circles(TM) of family and friends to share their digital media by automatically delivering it directly to their desktops.

With today's release, the program is easier to use with iPhoto and iMovie as the two iLife applications are interoperable with Mac Memeo Share. Users can simply drag and drop full resolution iPhoto and iMovie content into their Sharing Circles or the program can automatically share directly from an iPhoto album or iMovie list. The new version of Mac Memeo Share also brings social-networking capabilities to the desktop by allowing users to comment and rate pictures they send and receive within the application. The program automatically updates this activity to friends and family, as well as the Memeo Web gallery.

"The latest version of Mac Memeo Share makes delivering high-resolution pictures and videos quick, simple and flexible as users can now share everything from their desktops," said Hong Bui, CEO and founder of Memeo. "The new features make it easier for friends and family to keep in touch and share personal memories with everyone they care about."

Mac Memeo Share v2.0 also debuts a simplified interface for viewing shared photos and videos. New features include an integrated media search function that can easily locate pictures or videos by keywords. Individuals can also now view media in a Cover Flow® format for an enhanced slideshow.

Mac Memeo Share is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.11 and above and is available immediately in Standard and Premium versions at The Standard version is free and allows users to share up to 1GB photos and videos with friends and family. The Premium version provides unlimited storage and use for $4.95 / month.

Memeo will demonstrate Mac Memeo Share as well as MemeoPhoto, a free photo-sharing application for the iPhone, at the Macworld Conference & Expo in booth #5017, January 6-9, 2009 at The Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA. The company will also be present at Pepcom's Digital Experience! on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 from 7:00 - 10:00pm in the Grand Ballroom at The Mirage.
