BOCA RATON, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 04/12/12 -- MedeFile International, Inc. (OTCQB: MDFI) (PINKSHEETS: MDFI), a leader in Internet-enabled Personal Health Record (iPHR) management solutions, today announced that it has recently enrolled Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches, Inc. (MSPB) in its innovative Quality of Care Program. This unique initiative provides for MedeFile to partner on a revenue-sharing basis with established medical practitioners, and to educate patients on the benefits and advantages of adopting the MedeFile system as their personal health record management solution.
MSPB is the largest group of doctors serving Palm Beach County, Florida with more than 75 physicians on staff and 30 medical facilities in operation. "MSPB is proud to provide its patients access to an innovative organization like MedeFile and its powerful and easy-to-use PHR solution," stated Manny Fernandez, Chief Executive Officer of MSPB. Having timely access to this information is critical in providing the best care possible to our patient population."
Kevin Hauser, Chairman, President and CEO of MedeFile, noted that "studies have shown that consumers are more interested in adopting a PHR offered by their healthcare provider than any other source. Consequently, we are thrilled to be teaming with MSPB to actively market MedeFile's PHR solution to their patient base, which currently numbers approximately 200,000 people who entrust MSPB with their families' health and wellness."
Concluding, Hauser added, "This is an opportunity to reach hundreds of thousands of patients, to educate them on the value of MedeFile's PHR. What better educator, than that of their doctors. This opportunity is very exciting for all of us."
