Media Lab and PageLime Announce SiteGrinder 3 IntegrationPartnership to Provide Easy to Use Permissions-Based CMS for SiteGrinder 3 Client Websites (May 04, 2010)
LONGMONT, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/04/10 -- Media Lab Inc., premier provider of Photoshop plug-in website creation technologies, today announced an integration partnership with PageLime's permissions-based content management system (CMS) to complement its own SiteGrinder 3 Control add-on.
PageLime is a cloud-based CMS which gives website designer/developers an easy method for their clients to manage the content on their websites. PageLime, like SiteGrinder, requires no programing knowledge at all. PageLime and SiteGrinder work seamlessly together for a fully integrated solution. The SiteGrinder 3 Control add-on and the PageLime CMS provide a complete solution for both the designer/developer and the website owner.
"We designed SiteGrinder 3 to work seamlessly with third party products," said Chris Perkins, Media Lab Co-founder and CTO. "PageLime complements SiteGrinder's own CMS by providing designers with an easy to use cloud-based CMS for their clients who require variable levels of access to their websites."
The SiteGrinder 3 Control add-on CMS allows the website designer/developer to quickly change any site content remotely including page additions, text, images and galleries from any web browser, all without returning to Photoshop. The PageLime CMS provides owners of SiteGrinder 3 generated websites with an easy to use method for changing only those approved items on the website through a permission based system. See tutorial at NetTuts+.
"The SiteGrinder 3 architecture, workflow, and user interface make it a perfect product integration for the PageLime CMS," said Tom McLeod, CEO, PageLime, Inc. "Integration was simple and straightforward and we look forward to helping the end users of SiteGrinder 3-developed websites simplify the management of their own websites."
SiteGrinder 3 allows graphic designers, photographers, artists or anyone to easily transform their Photoshop designs into CSS and XHTML standards-compliant websites without writing a single line of code. For developers who want to improve their work flow, all code generated by SiteGrinder 3 is fully editable in Adobe Dreamweaver or any other CSS or HTML editor.
