Medea Launches New RAIDVideoRaid available in two-drive, 120 GB array
The new two-drive VideoRaid scsi product line now includes 80 GB, 120 GB, 160 GB and 200 GB models that sustain a minimum data transfer rate of 30 MB per second. The arrays are compatible with an SCSI-equipped computer. The onboard RAID controller eliminates the need for disk striping software or configuring drive stripe sets. VideoRaid SCSI modules can be daisy-chained together for storage capacities of up to 3 Terabytes on a single SCSI host adapter. Because it has an onboard controller, it can be swapped between computers without losing striping information.
The new 120 GB model sells for $999. The 80 GB, 160 GB and 200 GB models sell for $899, $1,299 and $1,499, respectively. For more information, visit http://www.medea.com.
