Matt Cheesé Nominated for an ACE award

Nominated for Cinema Editors Award for Best Edited Feature Film (January 21, 2005)

Cut + Run Editor Matt Chessé has been nominated for a Cinema Editors (ACE) Award for Best Edited Feature Film (Dramatic Category) for Finding Neverland.

Winners will be revealed during ACE's 55th annual black-tie awards ceremony on Sunday, February 20, 2005 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where James L. Brooks will be honored with the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award and Dave Blewitt, A.C.E. and Jim Clark will receive Career Achievement awards.

Editor Matt Chessés impeccable sense of timing is showcased in both his feature films and commercials. In the feature realm, Chessé has collaborated with Director Marc Forster on Finding Neverland, Monsters Ball and the upcoming Stay. The editor is currently finishing Ellie Parker, a feature based on a short of the same name, that debuted at Sundance in 2001, featuring a then little-known Naomi Watts. Watts, Director Scott Coffey and Chessé are collaborating on the film as producers.
