Marratech releases Universal Application for Mac OS X

(March 30, 2006)
Marratech today announced availability of a Universal version of its Real Time Collaboration (RTC) client to enable superb audio visual conferencing and collaboration on Intel-based Macs.

The announcement demonstrates Marratech's strong and continued commitment to support Mac OS X as thousands of applications transition to native support for high performance Intel-based Macs.

"Marratech welcomes the Apple transition as it offers users increased performance, especially when combined with innovative solutions such as the integrated iSight camera, said Lars Persson, Marratech's CEO. "Our new Universal application will deliver great benefits to 'road warriors' greatly, in the form of better performance combined with the ability to communicate with other cross-platform Marratech users."

"The blazing speed of our Intel-based Macs provides a significant performance boost to all Universal applications running natively," says Ron Okamoto, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. "The ease of developing for Intel-based Macs is driving strong developer momentum and we're thrilled that Marratech products will be joining the more than 1300 Universal applications already available."
