Mark Playdon Joins Fast Forward Video

Becomes new Channel/OEM Sales Director (May 16, 2005)

Fast Forward Video, Inc. (FFV), a recognized innovator of digital video recorder (DVR) technology for broadcast, industrial video, presentation, and military applications, today announced the appointment of Mark Playdon as channel/OEM sales director. In his new position with the company, he will be responsible for all international distributor/dealer and broadcast sales, as well as for all domestic and international OEM sales to the company's growing client base.

"Mark's experience in building relationships in broadcast markets here and abroad will be invaluable as we introduce our compact recording technologies into new verticals and a broader range of applications," said Fast Forward Video President Paul DeKeyser. "We're very pleased to welcome him to the company."

Playdon joins Fast Forward Video with 13 years of experience in the broadcast sector. He most recently served as western regional sales manager for Vinten USA, where he managed and developed key accounts and created a new dealer network for the company's products. Earlier, as Vinten's sales manager for Europe, Russia, Middle East, and Africa, he oversaw training and assisted with systems integration, while establishing and building on new client and OEM relationships.

Prior to Vinten, Playdon established and ran FOR-A's Middle East/Africa sales office, resulting in significantly increased sales for the company in that region. He began his broadcast career as a systems installation and design engineer at FOR-A, having previously served as a technician at Duracell's European Technical Center in London, where he worked on special projects for the Ministry of Defense.

Playdon will be based in Fast Forward Video's Sylmar, Calif., offices and report to the company president, Paul DeKeyser.
