March Deadline for SIGGRAPH Animation Festival SubmissionsNo late entries accepted
Entries that are selected will be screened during the SIGGRAPH 2002 Animation Festival, with "big screens, great sound systems, and the most knowledgeable and appreciative audience in the world: SIGGRAPH 2002 attendees," according to festival organizers.
A video entry submission package must be prepared, including the following four items:
1. Signed submission & authorization form (available on the SIGGRAPH website)
2. NTSC, VHS or BETACAM SP of your work
3. Include two descriptive statements about your work that are suitable for publication
4. A still image suitable for publication (slide or digital)
The Video Entry Submission package should be sent to:
SIGGRAPH 2002 Computer Animation Festival Chair
5475 Mark Dabling Boulevard
Colorado 80918 USA
The phone number is +1.719.599.3734.
Schools must submit individual student projects as separate, individual submissions. One project per video tape, per online submission number. Group and collaborative projects are encouraged, but must also be limited to one project per video tape submission.
Submitters will not be notified of receipt of submission packages. Festival organizers ask that people do not call to verify receipt of packages, suggesting that entrants retain their shipping waybill numbers and contact the shipping agents to confirm delivery.
The March 6 deadline is final; no late entries will be accepted.
Details regarding submissions may be found on the SIGGRAPH 2001 website at http://www.siggraph.org/s2002/cfp/caf/. For further information, contact Pam Hogarth (Outreach Lead, SIGGRAPH 2002 Computer Animation Festival Committee) at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone: 323/466-6663.
