Mac Video Pro Joins DMN Macintosh ClusterOnline publication geared for Macintosh video professionals (May 24, 2004)
Digital Media Net (DMN) today launched Mac Video Pro, a new online publication geared toward video professionals working on the Macintosh platform. The new site has been launched in conjunction with four other new online communities for Macintosh creative professionals, making up Digital Media Net's new Macintosh Cluster. DMN now produces 52 online trade publications and newsletters, strengthening its position as the world's leading provider of industry information for the digital content creation market.
"Professional video editing has found a home on the Macintosh platform," says David Nagel, DMN Executive Editor and noted Mac expert. "With so many powerful tools available for Macintosh video professionals--including Apple's own Final Cut Pro software--it was a natural choice to launch this publication for this large and expanding market. While the new site's coverage will emphasize video editing, it will also include valuable information for professionals in related fields, such as motion graphics, animation and even DVD production."
Mac Video Pro (http://www.macvideopro.com) covers all aspects of the video production pipeline, from acquisition to delivery, including editing, visual effects, compositing, animation and motion graphics, and it includes tutorials, product reviews, opinion and industry trends, as well as practical tools for the use of video professionals.
