MWall/Associates To Develop Promo Campaign for ABC's Bachelor in Paris
The new ?Bachelor in Paris spot, shot entirely on location in Paris (the new location for the eighth installment of the show), follows the new bachelor as he discovers and chases a "Mystery Girl" through the streets of the "City of Lights," only to find her and 24 other beautiful women waiting for him underneath the Eiffel Tower.
The spot was developed by Jill Gershman, Vice President, and Brian Gawronski, Creative Director, ABCs On-Air Promotion department, who both also executive produced the project along with ABC's Executive Director of Production, Sally Conner. MWall/Associates and Johnson-Burnett Productions teamed up with the Paris based live-action production company GRANDLARGE Productions to crew and staff the shoot. The crew for the new spot included Martin Raines/Director, Phillippe Piffeteau/DP, and GRANDLARGE producers Steven Horton and Samantha Veyne.
Shot in Super 16, the new ?Bachelor in Paris spot captures various locales in Paris including the Eiffel Tower, Esplanade Du Trocadero, and the Pont des Tournelles behind Notre Dame. Finished in black and white, except for a bright red rose prop (a signature of the show), the spot follows the journey of the new bachelor while set against the music of Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra.
The new ?Bachelor in Paris premiers January 9, 2006 on ABC.
