MIAMI REALTORS® See Big Value in Moby Personal Safety App for Thousands of Members(September 23, 2011)
Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) September 23, 2011
The largest local REALTOR® association in the United States is the latest organization to adopt Mobys personal safety app for its members. The MIAMI Association of REALTORS® will include the private location sharing smartphone software as a component of a comprehensive new service offering for its more than 23,000 members.
The safety of our members, either professionally while working as REALTORS® or privately at home with their families, is paramount to the MIAMI Association of REALTORS®, says Deborah Boza-Valledor, COO & Chief Marketing Officer. Moby is a key component in our comprehensive membership safety strategy and a part of our new MIAMI Premium PLUS package of services. I encourage all members, and their friends and family, to download and use Moby to ensure their loved ones are connected and safe throughout the day.
Moby was designed to keep real estate professionals safe, whether hosting open houses, visiting vacant properties, or working late at night. A free app for the BlackBerry, iPhone, and coming soon for Android, Moby alerts a users chosen contacts with a request for assistance, and provides an interactive map of the users location. Alerts can be triggered by a single button, and powerful location sharing features provide peace of mind for ones inner circle of contacts. For a small monthly fee, alerts can be monitored 24x7 by Mobys nationwide security monitoring center.
The addition of MIAMI REALTORS® to the Moby alliance family is a tremendous endorsement, says Conal Campbell, Director of Alliances for Moby. The speed in which discussions took place is a strong indication of both the desire to put enhanced safety measures in place for all real estate professionals, and MIAMI REALTORS® interest in leveraging the latest technologies in their service offerings to their members.
Chartered by the National Association of Realtors in 1920, MIAMI celebrates 91 years of service to real estate professionals, the buying and selling public, and the communities in South Florida. Moby is available for free from BlackBerry App WorldTM, iPhone App Store, and the Moby website (http://www.mymoby.com/get), with pre-registration available for Android here: http://www.mymoby.com/product/android.
