Lottery hopefuls drive to other states for ticketsFor some Mega Millions hopefuls, buying a ticket means driving across state lines
BEAVER DAM, Ariz. (AP) ' In some states, buying a chance to win the record $640 million Mega Millions jackpot means a road trip.
At the Beaver Dam Service Station in Beaver Dam, Ariz., store clerk Lisa Lorton says it's crazy with lines out the door and it's been that way for three days.
Lorton says they're selling tickets both in the store and at a nearby bar, with customers shelling out anywhere from a buck to $300.
One man says he drove 30 miles from St. George, Utah, to purchase a Mega Millions ticket Friday.
