Localytics Launches Enterprise Analytics for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry Apps(April 27, 2010)
CAMBRIDGE, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/27/10 -- Localytics announced today the release of its Enterprise Mobile Analytics service for Android, BlackBerry, iPad and iPhone applications. Localytics Enterprise service is available as a fully-hosted or first-party solution. Large brands and publishers already using Localytics Enterprise service include CardStar and KAYAK. Localytics also announced a partnership with Semphonic and participation in Coremetrics Connect, Omniture Genesis and WebTrends Open Exchange.
Localytics first offered its free Community mobile analytics solution last year to give Android, Blackberry, iPad and iPhone application publishers the only real-time reports and the deepest insights into how customers use their apps. Mobile app publishers use Localytics to track usage and custom events, dynamically generate custom segments and chart results with hourly granularity.
"We're focused on helping our Community and Enterprise customers build more successful mobile apps," says Brian Suthoff, Vice President at Localytics. "Our products and services are built to help our app developer partners, not to collect user data for ad networks, syndicated research firms or other third parties.
"KAYAK wants to build the best travel search apps for all mobile platforms," says Bill O'Donnell, Vice President at KAYAK. "Localytics gives us the best available tools to measure performance, understand our customers and build world-class applications."
Localytics Enterprise service builds on the Community version, adding support for location services, custom chart templates and export APIs for integrating mobile analytics data with other enterprise reporting packages. Localytics Enterprise service is available as a fully hosted, subscription-based service and as a licensed, first-party analytics solution.
"Localytics is the only mobile analytics solution with APIs that allow us to integrate robust analytics data and provide our merchant partners with detailed information on customer usage habits," says Andy Miller, CEO of CardStar. "Also, protecting user privacy is of the utmost importance and having the option to deploy Localytics on our own servers is critical."
Localytics and Semphonic Partnership
Localytics and Semphonic, the world's largest independent Web analytics consultancy, also announced today a partnership to collaboratively help companies build more successful mobile applications and integrate Localytics with enterprise web analytics platforms.
"Too often we see a company create an ineffective app or mobile presence," said Greg Dowling, Vice President at Semphonic. "Our SMART program is aimed at building a highly efficient mobile program from the ground up, and Localytics provides the measurement and analysis that are critical to driving smarter decisions."
The two companies will collaborate to develop best practices, integrate enterprise web analytics platforms, accelerate the use of mobile analytics and maximize the value that analytics can provide to all key stakeholders within a company.
