Liberate Adds Premier Tier to PopTV iTV Developers ProgramiTV Partner Program Delivers Expanded Tools, Training, Support And Funding to Accelerate Commercial Delivery of iTV (January 15, 2002)

At the new PopTV Premier Partner level, members will receive preferred referrals to network operators deploying interactive services on the Liberate TV Platform. They will also be included in Liberate's exclusive online catalogue of iTV applications for network operators deploying new services. In addition, Premier Partners will have access to extensive technical documentation and Liberate's development expertise, including Liberate's internal APIs, specific development advice on broadcast enhancements, and a library of articles and technical papers developed during commercial deployments in Europe and the United States. They also will receive advance briefings on Liberate's product roadmaps.
In addition, Liberate is cutting costs for its Premier Partners to develop applications. Premier Partners are eligible for special access to the Liberate Venture Fund. Premier Partners will also receive substantial additional discounts from Liberate on training, support, and development and testing sessions in headend-equipped PopTV laboratories in the United States and Europe.
