Lexmark Tunes Drivers for OS X

Updates available now By Dave Nagel
Lexmark International today introduced new Mac OS X printer drivers for its entire line of Macintosh-compatible monochrome and color laser and multifunction printers. The company will demonstrate its new driver compatibility this week at the Macworld expo using several of its recently printers, including the C720 color laser printer, the T522 and T622 monochrome laser printers and the X522 series MFP.

"Lexmark has been a long-time supporter of the Macintosh computing environment, and we continue to ensure that our solutions are optimized for use with Mac computers," said Paul Rooke, Lexmark vice president, in a prepared statement. "Lexmark's new C, T and X printing solutions are ideally suited for Macintosh-only and mixed computing environments and take advantage of many of the new features inherent in the Mac OS X operating system."

New Mac OS X driver software for Lexmark's printers can be downloaded immediately from the Lexmark Web site at http://drivers.lexmark.com.
