Attendees will experience the power of full-quality, high-performance HD/SD editing with VelocityHD, and see in person why VelocityHD was honored with a remarkable six awards at NAB 2004. "Take the High Road" tour sessions include in-depth demonstrations of VelocityHD, presentations from partners and sponsors (including a demonstration of eyeon Software's latest enhancements to Digital Fusion and DFX+), and special appearances by industry experts.
Tour dates include:
Toronto, ON - Tuesday, September 21
New York, NY - Wednesday, September 22
Atlanta, GA - Tuesday, September 28
Orlando, FL - Thursday, September 30
Los Angeles, CA - Tuesday, October 5

Guest speakers will include respected post production professional and industry analyst Oliver Peters, currently a contributing editor to Videography Magazine, and commercial director Bill O'Neil.
Peters has worked in radio, television, film and interactive media since 1970 and has extensive experience in post production. Peters' editing experience includes films, commercials and various broadcast and non-broadcast entertainment and informational programs. Peters will be speaking at the New York, Atlanta and Orlando stops on the tour.
O'Neil worked for ten years in Los Angeles in effects and animation - including stop motion animation of the Pillsbury Doughboy - and also directed segments for Pee Wee's Playhouse, before forming his own production company in Chicago. Acquiring most of his material in high definition, O'Neil is experienced in the intricacies of HD production. O'Neil creates local and national commercial spots and promos for clients including Turtle Wax, Midway Games, Chicago Wolves Hockey and NBC. O'Neil will be speaking at the Toronto and Chicago stops on the tour. Other guest speakers will be announced soon on the Leitch Web site.
